Insulation disposal — batts, loose-fill and off-cuts

• Glasswool and rockwool batts, whole or broken
• Loose-fill insulation, bagged
• Off-cuts and trimmings from a new install

Insulation from an older building is not automatically ordinary insulation. If there is any chance the material contains asbestos, it is not an ordinary load and must not be tipped as one. Ring the gatehouse before you load if you are unsure what you have.

Bag it. Loose batts shed fibres across the yard and across your trailer, and a bagged load is faster over the weighbridge. Keep the load covered on the drive in.

Mon–Fri 6:30am – 4:00pm · Closed weekends & public holidays. The last load of the day must be tipped and off the weighbridge by 4:00pm. Arrive with enough time to weigh in, tip and weigh out before then — the gate cannot take a load that would still be on the bridge at close.

Within opening hours — Mon–Fri, closed public holidays.

Classified soil, asbestos-containing material and fibro are not accepted as walk-in loads. Acceptance is project-specific and requires supporting documentation, a confirmed rate and written approval before delivery. Hazardous Waste is not accepted.

These materials are never accepted, in any quantity — a different answer from the restricted streams above, which the yard does take on the terms set out there.
