Tipping at Glenfield — the public weighbridge north of Campbelltown

This is a commercial yard rather than a council service. There is no council-area check and no account to open, and with an ordinary load you drive in during opening hours, your load goes over the weighbridge, and you are charged at the rate for what you are tipping.

Some loads are arranged first rather than driven in: VENM, Excavated Natural Material (ENM), Contaminated Soil (classified soil, asbestos-containing material and fibro), security burial. Those need written approval or notice before you leave, so check the page for your material before you load.

The yard is on Cambridge Avenue at Glenfield, off the highway corridor that runs north from Campbelltown. Check the last-load rule before you set out in the afternoon — it is the one that decides whether a late trip is worth starting.

The last load of the day must be tipped and off the weighbridge by 4:00pm. Arrive with enough time to weigh in, tip and weigh out before then — the gate cannot take a load that would still be on the bridge at close.

The yard takes 11 material streams, from a general trailer load through to single items charged per unit. 8 of them carry a published rate, 2 are quoted on application once the material is approved, and 1 is not a walk-in stream — the fee schedule sets out its terms.

These materials are never accepted, in any quantity. Some other streams are accepted only project by project rather than as walk-in loads, which is a different answer — the fee schedule sets out the terms for those.
